The Journal Engineering Sciences and Technologies has been published by Wroclaw University of Economics Press since 2009. It is a continuation of a series of academic working papers called Technology (Technologia) which were published for 40 years. Since 2011 it has been published quarterly and presents both scientific papers and reviews in Polish and English. The published papers include peer-reviewed articles and international academic conference reports together with reviews of the latest scholarly books in fields such as food technology and nutrition, chemical technology, microbiology, biotechnology, food commodity and quality and safety management systems. Articles are submitted and reviewed via the on-line system SENIR. Each paper is assessed by two experts in appropriate fields. In 2016 Engineering Sciences and Technologies was awarded 6 points by Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland.
